Congrats to Victor Abiamiri - Gilman Grad & Eagles' 2nd Round Draft Pick
Congratulations to Victor Abiamiri, who was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles yesterday with the 25th pick in the second round of the NFL draft (#57 overall). Victor is, to my knowledge, the first ever graduate of my high school (Gilman School in Baltimore) that was drafted to the NFL. The 6-foot-4, 270-pound University of Notre Dame defensive end had been projected to be picked in the second or third round.
Good luck today to Stan White, Jr. (fullback from Ohio State) who could become the second Gilman grad to be drafted.

You got me thinking - did anyone from my High School ever play in the NFL. Turns out that someone did...
Frank Hartley
